Lenovo Partner Hub Privacy Notice

This Lenovo Partner Hub Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”) describes: (i) how Lenovo collects, uses, stores, or otherwise processes an individual's personal data in the context of the Lenovo Partner Hub; and (ii) the data sharing relationship between Lenovo Partner Hub and third parties involved.
Before you proceed with the registration, we want you to know that using the Lenovo Partner Hub (“the portal”) will involve certain data processing activities of your personal data by Lenovo and its partners. In this privacy notice, “Lenovo”, "we" or "us" refers to Lenovo Group Ltd and its affiliated group companies. Lenovo will process your personal data as a data controller of your personal information.
This Privacy Notice governs the relationship between you and Lenovo, and the specific personal data processing activities conducted in connection with the portal. Personal data means any information which is related to an identified or identifiable natural person. When you register and use the portal, Lenovo requires you to provide certain personal data to complete registration.
The portal will capture primarily Partner account data, your name and contact information, data related to the Partner’s agreement with Lenovo, and how you use the portal. Please see the following table below for more detailed information.

We may use the information about how you interact with the portal for analytic purposes in order to understand how to improve the portal, as well as to gain greater understanding of our relationship with our Business Partners.
To offer and provide a customized portal experience, Lenovo may use cookies to store and help track information about you. Where required by applicable law, Lenovo will acquire consent from you prior to using certain cookies during your Lenovo Partner Hub experience.
The portal uses cookies, pixels, and related technologies (including via session replay analytics tools) that allow Lenovo to measure portal trends and traffic patterns, such as which areas of the Lenovo Partner Hub portal you visited, to, among other things (a) reduce user frustration and simplify portal navigation, (b) to help design the portal to make it more efficient and enjoyable, (c) to make recommendations to Partners and users, and (d) to prevent fraud. We also use two main types of functional cookies, which are classified as essential: (1) “JSESSIONID” cookie in order to record the session ID to link user with session, and (2) “GUEST_LANGUAGE_ID” cookie to record the user language ID.
In order to provide the portal, we will share your information with Lenovo service providers to enable certain functionalities of the portal; for instance, we use AWS for hosting purposes. Lenovo also uses service providers to, among other things, enable content production, provide loyalty program functionality, and enable chat functionality. Lenovo requires its service providers to maintain information security best practices, make all reasonable efforts to secure your data, and only processes your data for the original and necessary purposes.
Partners using the portal must identify one individual as the Partner’s administrator (“Partner Admin”) who will be responsible for managing that Partner’s account on the portal and will have access to business overview and dashboard information about Partner. The portal shares certain information about the Partner’s authorized users with the Partner Admin, including the actions they take on the portal as well as the history and status of any trainings they take through the portal.
The portal also makes available to Partners certain modules and features that are provided directly to Partners by third parties. For instance, the Market Builder module and the training and certification module are provided to Partners directly by third parties. In these cases, data is considered shared directly by the Partner to the third party and Lenovo shall not be liable to Partner or to you for any damages arising from this data.
In the event you leave the employment of one of Lenovo’s Partners but later gain employment at another of Lenovo’s Partners, Lenovo may share, upon your request and via the portal, personal data about you (such as your trainings and certifications) with your then current employer.
When we design a product or a service, we focus on delivering the best user experience. To do this, we process personal data for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice and retain your personal information as long as necessary to achieve proper performance of the portal. In some cases, we may need to retain your personal data longer when it is required by law.
